transforming your career. Scientist In Vivo Pharmacology What you
will do Lets do this. Lets change the world. Amgen is seeking In
vivo support for mouse and rat studies. We're looking for someone
with strong common sense and commitment to animal welfare. In this
vital role you will support discovery research. The technical tasks
include performing procedures on laboratory rodents such as
handling, dosing via multiple routes, clinical health assessments,
biologic sample collection and necropsy. Additional tasks will
include training and competency assessment of researchers and
assisting with development of new surgical techniques and in vivo
research models. The individual will also be responsible for review
and compliance with all applicable SOPs, business practices and
company policies. What we expect of you We are all different, yet

these qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree
biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or similar Or Masters degree
biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or similar and 2 years of
biopharmaceutical industry and/or an academic laboratory experience
Or Bachelors degree biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or similar
and 4 years of biopharmaceutical industry and/or an academic
laboratory experience Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate
degree in life sciences such as biology, biochemistry, pharmacology
or similar and 6-10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical
industry and/or an academic laboratory Competency with multiple
routes of in vivo dosing (IP, PO, SC, IV), different kinds of blood
collection methods (cardiac, submental) and serum/plasma
processing, necropsy expertise, perfusion methods, IVIS imaging,
and strong general awareness of animal welfare and attention to
detail is strongly preferred. Competency with preparing reagents
(following instructions, performing calculations, etc). Experience
with echocardiography is strongly preferred Primary support will be
mouse work, but ability to handle rats and perform some skills is
highly preferred. Good organizational skills and excellent
attention to detail are vital to this position. Experience handling
and performing basic manipulations with laboratory rodents is a
must. A background in rodent technique training and rodent surgical
experience is a plus. Familiarity with cardiovascular disease and

range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not
limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In
