VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialists (BAVS) located in San
Leandro, CA is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to
Lead the Surgery/Anesthesia Department.Location: 14790 Washington
Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578East in the San Francisco Bay areaWe are
seeking an RVT who enjoys challenging and engaging anesthesia
cases, has a desire to further their knowledge in the field, and is
committed to acting as a leader and a team player. At VCA BAVS, the
sense of teamwork and the culture of working together is no less
important than the level of medical and surgical care that patients
receive. VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia) or (Surgery) are welcomed,
but not required. The equivalent experience will be considered.
Those interested in pursuing a VTS in Anesthesia & Analgesia, or
Surgery, will be supported by the team.Required qualifications:Must
be a Registered Veterinary Technician in California or eligible
within 3 months of start. Previous experience with companion animal
anesthesia (dog/cat), diagnostic imaging, operating room
procedures, and post-operative care. Excellent communication skills
necessary to interact effectively with coworkers, specialists,
clients, and patients; ability to readily learn new procedures, and
must be adaptable.Schedule: Full-time opportunity. Monday Thursday,
4/10sCompensation: Starting at $ 35 40 / hour. Pay is dependent on

skills. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-2 years of
experience in general practice or 6 months-1 year of experience in
a fast-paced emergency. A minimum of 2 years of anesthesia
