Bay Area Veterinary Specialists (BAVS) is seeking experienced
full-time Veterinary Technicians, to join our well-established
24-hour specialty referral practice in sunny San Leandro,
California-located just 15 miles south of Berkeley in the San
Francisco East Bay area.Radiation Oncology is back at VCA Bay Area
Veterinary Specialists. We are excited and grateful to have Dr.
Katherine Hansen, a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, on our
team. We are looking for a Radiation Oncology RVT (Registered
Veterinary Technician) to contribute to our commitment in providing
compassionate care to our Oncology patients.Joining the VCA BAVS
team is a great opportunity to utilize your skills, work with a
tight-knit dynamic crew, and expand your knowledge and competencies
in veterinary specialty areas. At BAVS we focus on mentoring our
associates with opportunities for CE (continuing education), and
training and supporting our team members as they progress in their
veterinary medical career. We have recently expanded our ability to
offer cutting-edge cancer care with the help of our new Halcyon.
RVTs are able to assist with direct hands on care, which include
performing advanced diagnostics, chemotherapy administration, and
the most current treatment modalities.The ideal candidate is a team
player who is a friendly, dependable, emotionally intelligent, a
positive multi-tasker with excellent communication and client
service skills. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-2
years of experience in general practice or 6 months-1 year of
experience in fast-paced emergency. A minimum of 2 years of
anesthesia experience is required for this position.VCA Animal

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and
other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $30
