TODAY!Position Description:The Electrical Controls Engineer will be
responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production
equipment from various suppliers. The primary focus of the role
will be to identify and prioritize controls/electrical
opportunities to maximize operations performance. The Electrical
Controls Specialist will also execute projects involving PLC 5, SLC
500, Controls Logix, Panel View Plus, various VFDs, and iFix.
Additionally, they will provide training to Maintenance
Technicians, configure and maintain industrial networks, and
develop routines and SOPs to maintain controls assets.Key
Performance Objectives: Equipment Maintenance: The Electrical
Controls Specialist will troubleshoot and maintain production
equipment from various suppliers to ensure equipment uptime is
maximized. Controls System Documentation: The Electrical Controls
Specialist will develop and maintain electrical and controls system
documentation to ensure that system documentation is accurate and
up to date. Operations Performance: The Electrical Controls
Specialist will identify and prioritize controls/electrical
opportunities to maximize operations performance, ensuring that
production targets are met and exceeded. Project Execution: The
Electrical Controls Specialist will execute projects involving PLC
5, SLC 500, Controls Logix, Panel View Plus, various VFDs, and iFix
to improve the performance of the production equipment. Training
and Development: The Electrical Controls Specialist will provide
training in controls and electricity to Maintenance Technicians to
improve the overall knowledge base of the team. Network
Configuration: The Electrical Controls Specialist will configure
and maintain industrial networks such as Ethernet, DeviceNet, and
Remote I/O to ensure that production equipment is properly
integrated with the network. Controls Asset Maintenance: The
Electrical Controls Specialist will develop routines and SOPs to
maintain controls assets, ensuring that production equipment is
properly maintained. Control Software Administration: The
Electrical Controls Specialist will administer control software to
achieve the balance between mechanical and controls changes,
ensuring that production equipment is properly maintained. Allen
Bradley Maintenance: The Electrical Controls Specialist will
maintain Allen Bradley hardware and software: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs,
Networks, Licenses, Technical Support, and various electrical
systems to ensure that equipment is properly maintained. Electrical
Installation/Integration: The Electrical Controls Specialist will
supervise the electrical installation/integration of equipment and
controls to ensure that installation is performed according to
established controls and electrical specifications. Innovation and
Emerging Technologies: The Electrical Controls Specialist will stay
abreast of emerging technologies and document electrical and
controls innovations to ensure that the facility is utilizing the
most up-to-date technology available. Process Documentation: The
Electrical Controls Specialist will maintain process documentation
(P+ID, Ladder, CAD drawings) to ensure that documentation is
accurate and up to date. CMMS Software: The Electrical Controls
Specialist should have familiarity with CMMS software (SAP) to
ensure that work orders are properly tracked and completed.
Calibration Procedures: The Electrical Controls Specialist should
understand calibration procedures for process instruments and
process controls troubleshooting to ensure that equipment is
properly calibrated. Seeking a highly skilled and experienced

facility. Pay Range: $81,813 to $112,266 The compensation range
reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of
posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual
compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets,
experience and training, and other business needs. This role may
also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive
program, subject to the rules governing the program.Position
Requirements: Qualifications: 3-5+ years of experience in a
controls engineering role Experience with PLC 5, SLC 500, Controls
Logix, Panel View Plus, various VFDs, and iFix Experience with
Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O networks Experience with Allen
Bradley hardware and software: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Networks,
Licenses, Technical Support, and various electrical systems
Experience with CMMS software (SAP) Must pass a post-offer
background and drug test High school diploma or GED, Electrical
certification, and/or vocational certification Strong knowledge of
PNP and NPN sensors, Rockwell Software, and Servo motors Strong
problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part
of a team Attention to detail and a focus on quality Ability to
work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and
the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of
process control systems and instrumentation is a plus.
