Job Description:

Our 25-year-old roofing business seeks an estimator to cover our San Francisco Bay Area service area. We estimate both residential and commercial projects. We have an excellent reputation in the business, and are looking to add your motivation and expertise to our dedicated team. Experience estimating shingle, modified bitumen, TPO, PVC, silicone and other commercial roofing systems is required. Waterproofing experience would be a plus. Position Goals: Increase number of roofing proposals generated Reduce response time between lead inquiry and proposal submission Increase the percentage of winning proposals Assist in development of marketing materials to communicate the breadth of materials and services offered Anticipated Tasks: Responding to roofing inquires by scheduling site visits Meeting with potential customers and explain the benefits of the of roofing systems available Measuring roofs, documenting roof details Preparing roof estimates and drafting customer proposals Generating roofing leads for new construction and replacements Preparing change orders to proposals and repair orders Providing photo documentation to support each site visit Improving functionality of our customer management software Overseeing crew as they install roofs to ensure quality control and consistency with contract Skills Required: Ability to climb a ladder and measure a roof, if needed Ability to clearly communicate roof materials and options to potential customers Ability to communicate with a crew Ability to interface with customers about job details Training will be provided for our management systems and field work. Experience with CRM Software is a plus. Compensation based on experience and client closing success. Salary plus commission.
