Salary Range:
$59,700.00 - $99,700.00

As Global Events Digital Content Asset Coordinator, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the event industry while working alongside seasoned professionals. You will work with various stakeholders, spanning customers to individuals across all departments within AVEVA, plan, and execute the content at the company's largest external conferences. This role will interface with various constituents, prepare and manage the content at AVEVA World, as well as support the content strategy and overall planning and execution of both external and internal events throughout the year. While not strictly required, beneficial to have knowledge of AVEVA's portfolios and customer use cases.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Global Events Team with the content for AVEVA World
  • Holding regular calls with Track Owners and follow up with speakers, to ensure all presentation materials are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Supporting speakers through Call for Papers (CFP) process, content preparation and rehearsals.
  • Updating event platform as needed (e.g. track owner support, peer information requests, reporting, coaching speakers and track owners through process).
  • Reviewing preliminary drafts of submissions.
  • Attending as many rehearsals as possible.
  • Participating in final review of papers, rename files, and publish files to our SharePoint site.
  • Managing Post-event archive of presentation materials & video
  • Assisting with event technology utilized at events (e.g. mobile app) when needed.
  • Integration with AV systems & Production companies
  • Support recording and capture of sessions (Customer and Product stories)
  • Support preparation of session recordings for publishing to website
  • Coordinating with IT and Planning Infrastructure and Systems related to major events.
  • Managing computer updates, Internet needs for events
  • Integrating the content management systems with other systems
  • Supporting content, recording and live event streaming for:
    • Tier 1 third party events
    • IGNITE
    • Other corporate meetings and regional events
    • Attending all in-house and major offsite events.
    • Moderate Travel is required (15-20%), this may require some domestic and international travel. A valid passport is required. Knowledge, skills, and experience
      • Education: A degree or coursework in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
      • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in drafting professional emails, creating event materials, and interacting with diverse stakeholders.
      • Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required. Willingness to assist with various tasks, even those outside the scope of event planning.
      • Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving. Ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected challenges in a calm and professional manner.
      • Technology Proficiency: Basic knowledge of event management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and social media platforms.
      • Must be able to plan and manage timelines as well as keep other constituents on track.
      • Knowledgeable about the AVEVA portfolio is a plus Other Capabilities
