SUMMARY: Supervises the switchboard functions and staff
throughout the organization.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE: The following are the
duties performed by employees in this classification. However,
employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level.
Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual
in the classification.
1. Assists Manager of Support Services with wireless pager system
and pager program including maintaining records of pager
assignments and inventory, distributing pagers and supplies to AHS
personnel as requested; validating monthly invoicing, executing
wireless pages as defined by emergency'Code" procedures, producing
reports for pager.
2. Maintains a record of specific activity on various logs and
on-line database, such as Trauma log, Incident logs, CNFlogs and
daily test page reports etc.
3. Performs standard supervisory functions, including, recruitment,
hiring, on-boarding, training, coaching, mentoring, task
assignment, performance evaluation, progressive discipline,
conflict resolution and allocating staff resources.
4. Plans, organizes, and schedules the activities of switchboard
staff based on analysis of use patterns and other factors.
5. Coordinates internal communications, including alerts, emergency
messages, status reports and other items.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely
provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as
possession of any required licenses or certifications is
Required Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in related field.
Required Experience: Three years within a switchboard or other
centralized communication environment.
