Job Overview

From a customer perspective, is accountable for on-premise selling of cold drink, fountain and vending. From a sales strategy perspective, is accountable for primarily new customers (acquisition) and minimal account maintenance on big accounts or problem areas. Focus is on new business, filling voids, and distribution availability. From a process perspective, is accountable to access and persuade throughout the selling process. May also be responsible for equipment placement that is for immediate consumption, single serve, etc.

Develop and maintain beverage volume and profit through new and existing customers in specified geographic area representing all brand products.

  • Solicits and qualifies new customers for Cold Drink business
  • Develops, plans and executes profitable volume-building activities with targeted accounts
  • Implements channel specific plans
  • Reviews company asset placements on basis of volume and return on investment for qualifying new accounts
  • Manages account profiles and call schedules via route book system for current customers and target customers
  • Responsible for measurement systems of profitability and volume within the assigned territory
  • Manages territory within assigned Marketing and Operating Budgets
  • Develops and executes total Business Plan for assigned territory
  • Develops relationships with targeted accounts to maximize potential

Position Shift and Schedule

This is a full time salaried position, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until work is done. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required as scheduled.

  • At least one year previous package goods, outside, or systems sales experience
  • Must have valid driver's license and motor vehicle report that meets company standards
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Willing to travel within their territory 75% of the time
