Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to lead the search for a temp to hire, entry-level Assembler for our client, a startup in San Leandro, CA. In this entry-level position you will learn how to use hand tools to assemble 3D printed products with this expanding startup.This position starts right away, is full-time, onsite in San Leandro, CA and starts at $17.00 hourly, plus sick time, medical benefits, and 401k after one year. There is a ton of room for professional growth in long term title, responsibilities, and also earnings! We are looking for attentive Assemblers to be trained, help us create awesome products, and be part of an awesome team at a wonderful company!Responsibilities* Learn new skills and manage 3D printing! * Prepare and assemble materials * Review work orders, instructions, and specifications* Operate machinery to assist in the production process* Assist in packaging products* Report to supervisors' backlogs and delays in production and shortages of supplies* Assemble machines by using various tools* Evaluate the quality of final products* Ensure that the workspace is clean and neatQualifications* 6 months of experience within a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment* Computer literacy * Adaptability * Attention to detail * Ability to work with small hand tools * Excellent interpersonal skills* High School diploma* Interest in technology a plusCompensationThis opportunity offers a pay rate of $18 hourly, plus on-the-job training in 3D printing.
