Job Description:

The Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) will perform duties associated with the transportation of government personnel, materials, and equipment within designated areas. The role involves operating various vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to government regulations. This position is critical for maintaining the operational effectiveness of government services. Safely operate assigned motor vehicles including cars, vans, and light trucks. Maintain accurate travel logs and reports as required. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues. Ensure the secure and timely transportation of government personnel and materials. Assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary. Maintain knowledge of local and regional traffic laws and regulations. Provide courteous and professional service to passengers. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques. Proficient vehicle maintenance skills. Excellent navigation and route planning abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is a plus.
