qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical
experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python,
Kotlin or Go. 5 years of experience testing, and launching software
products. 3 years of experience with software design and
architecture. Experience designing and building large-scale
systems, including serverless and service-oriented architecture
(SOA). Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer
Science or related technical fields. Experience in Ads Safety,
cybersecurity, or related domains. Experience with human review
processes and systems that complement automated platforms to
enhance overall safety operations. Ability to lead projects and
mentor other engineers. Excellent communication skills and the
ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and

Experiences team within Ads Safety ensures customers (advertisers
and publishers) and consumers (users) have excellent policy-related
experiences. Our efforts focus on helping advertisers get
respectful, useful, and actionable policy experiences that focus on
remediation, and reducing problematic ad experiences for our
consumers. Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the
best technology that connects and creates value for people,
publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple
teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search,
display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as
analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and
businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes
from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with
effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also
enable Google to engage with customers at scale. The US base salary
range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

Advocate Engineering Excellence. Model and enforce sustainable
engineering practices. This includes reviewing postmortems and
launches, helping drive operational excellence, and participating
in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability of our systems.
Contribute to the design process by reviewing and co-authoring
design documents. Serve as a key technical decision-maker for your
team's designs, ensuring they are scalable.
