Summary:

The position is responsible for managing food and beverage for Customer Meetings and Events during Dreamforce 2025. They will maintain operational excellence for our events and the holistic guest experience including but not limited to large 200-ppl receptions and smaller 20-80ppl meetings, all with little oversight. This role will assist in determining process for catering orders, managing caterers needs (rentals, load-in times, staff credentials, power needs), and work with event leads and event requestors to manage f&b for approximately 25-30 meetings and 10-15 receptions and events (including menu selection, budget, managing individual payments, food delivery times and locations, and ensure food quality and safety).



Responsibilities:

Support to complex customer and ELT-level events
Simple meeting support as needed
Strong customer service and executive interaction experience
Ability to multitask many events and projects at one time
Understand Company's brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging
Communicate regular event updates to management including Executive leadership
Continuous improvement and maintain global team documents and or playbooks for events
Ability to be consultative with clients looking to host events in our spaces and possess strong public speaking skills
Pre, onsite and post event logistical management
Determine event goals, create and track measurements and metrics including event surveys
Co-manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with internal teams to develop and successfully execute programs
Will utilize multiple tools: GCAL, Social Tables, the ticketing system, Slack, and Google products to document and manage event programs.



Qualifications:

7 years successful event management experience planning customer centric events, in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment
Knowledge of catering industry standards, limitations, and best practices
Possess strong customer service experience; candidates with a solid background and are highly personably and service focused
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Ability to manage multi projects at a given time w/a high level of expertise and skill with little oversight
Experience in managing budgets, financial planning and tracking
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to proactively address clients' needs
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands
Results-oriented, customer driven, organized with attention to detail
Ability to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline-oriented environment
Thrive on teamwork and overcoming obstacles



Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $90k - $100k/Yr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
