Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (08:00 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required, 5 years preferred License: CA License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - RN License - ACLS Certification - BLS Certification - PALS Certification - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The role involves admitting patients and preparing them for surgery. You will be responsible for starting IVs and recovering patients post-surgery. Providing discharge instructions for surgical and special procedure patients is also part of the role. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts. Shifts may vary between 06:00 - 16:30 and 10:00 - 20:30, Monday through Friday. Epic charting experience is preferred. Candidates with a history of background issues should disclose this information prior to application. Travelers who have been absent for over one year from the previous role are eligible to apply. Modules are part of the onboarding process, with an average time commitment of 1-5 hours. This position is non-billable during the training period.
