Maintains current knowledge of diabetes and CDE certification. Provides education to diabetic inpatients and outpatients. Provides staff education related to diabetes. Teaches clearly and effectively. Tenet will make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities unless doing so would result in an undue hardship. , $49.69 - $77.02 hourly Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience, - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred - Current CA Licensure as RN - BLS required - Certified Diabetes Educator strongly preferred. (Must obtain in a reasonable timeframe after hire if applicant not currently a DCE) - Minimum 2 years experience as an RN - Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred - Experience in program management in health related field - Experience in care of people with diabetes - Possesses basic computer skills - Clear, professional, personable communication Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
