As a business developer, Amar knew he could apply his skills during the pandemic to open a new veterinary hospital closer to home. We are looking foran additional Veterinarian to diagnose and treat our clients' animals. This is a great opportunityfor a new or experienced Veterinarian help our hospital grow. We specialize in dogs, cats andprovide wellness exams, vaccinations, mass removal, pet imaging, spaying, neutering, andmicrochipping as well as dental cleaning, laboratory services and surgery. The hospital is well equipped and facilities include: 2 exam rooms, treatment area, surgerysuite, in-house laboratory capabilities include Chemistries, utilization of Antech laboratories, inhouse ultrasound, digital radiograph technology, Dental radiographs and surgical monitoringand support that includes Midmark monitors. Salary: $200,000.00 to $250,000.00Job DetailsSchedule:

• Business Hours (Varies, Eight hour shifts)
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability Work Location: San Leandro or Hayward, CA Responsibilities:
  • Practice in accordance with state practice act and principles of veterinary medical ethics
  • Leverage evidence-based medicine and continue pursuit of education to deliver qualitypatient care -- Devote yourself to the culture of preventive care and Optimum WellnessPlans
    • Adopt and positively impact new veterinary standards and guidelines
    • Deliver medical and surgical treatments with formulary approved pharmaceuticals,supplies, and equipment, in accordance with medical quality standards
      • Partner with clients as an advocate for the pet to plan follow-up visits, provide home-care instructions, and education to ensure the lifelong health of their pets
        • Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records
        • Foster an effective veterinary support team by communicating medical standards,ethical practices, and your veterinary knowledge and experience Requirements:
          • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
          • State Veterinary Board License in good standing, prior to their start date. Additional Licensing:
            • A State Controlled Substance (SCS) License may be required by the state in which youintend to work. If you do not already hold an SCS, we encourage you to obtain thislicense after your start date as the practice may reimburse this cost.
              • DEA License.
              • New associates will be required to take their state USDA Accreditation class by the timethey reach the 12-week mark from their hire date.
