• Employment Type: TravelID: 2 Shift: 07:00-19:00 Description: Description:Direct the daily operations of the department including staff scheduling, ensuring the delivery of optimal patient care.Develop new methods to improve existing systems or operations. .Assess developmental needs of staff and develop continuing education and quality assurance programs to optimize patient care.Research supplies, instruments and equipment and recommend purchases to the Director.Assist in the selection, training and evaluation of subordinates and initiate personnel actions in accordance with Human Resources policies and organization philosophy.Maintain the necessary level of professional knowledge and technical proficiency in areas of functional responsibility.Complete required continuous training and education, including department-specific requirements.Comply with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation, asbestos, and other hazardous substances.Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served within the unit.Need candidates who can start ASAPFacility Requirements:Must have OR experience, PACU experience & preferably ICU experience as wellMust also have knowledge in Sterile ProcessingMust have ACLS & BLS certifications (Must be through the American Heart Association)Must have CA RN license, must be attached to resumeANOR certification preferredMust have 3 years recent OR RN experienceWilling to accept local candidates - must be 50 miles or less from the facility, bill rate will be $100MUST USE TEMPLATE BELOW TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.Any submittals without will be rejected!
