    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 2 years of experience in program management.
    • Experience in a quality engineering or failure analysis engineering.
    • Experience in consumer electronics (e.g., phones, tablets, laptops, etc).Preferred qualifications:
      • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
      • Experience in leading successful cross-functional teams for continuous quality issue investigation and quality improvement using practical approaches (fishbone diagrams, FMEA, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, DoE, SPC, etc.).
      • Experience with SQL/JMP.
      • Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and test/debug methods.
      • Ability to track record of technical leadership, stakeholders and executive communication.Excellent data analytics skills for field data analysis, creating actionable insights from raw data.About the jobA problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all.         As a Product Quality TPM you will work across a broad range of technologies and disciplines to design, develop, and deliver consumer electronic devices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with operations, design, engineering, and supply chain teams across multiple hardware domains to bring innovative products to market. Your primary responsibility will be to anticipate, identify, and mitigate any product quality issues that have a direct impact on customer experience or may damage the Pixel brand.The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.         • Plan and execute quality management plans for Google Pixel.
        • Manage the quality processes at the OEMs, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT), End User Testing (EUT), and Out of Box Audits (OBA).
        • Advocate for product quality and user experience in design reviews and cross-functional discussions.
        • Analyze large data sets and draw meaningful conclusions to help drive cross functional discussions.
        • Partner with the Early Engagement and Design teams to identify risks in next generation products, and ensure lessons from previous designs are being addressed.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
