Job Description:

Our Role: Manage all aspects of operations of one or more of our food brands. This individual will be responsible for ensuring product(s) are to specifications and meet our high-quality standards. They will also be responsible for monitoring inventory and working with production to meet inventory needs. Responsible for negotiating co-packer contracts. Oversee all aspects of supply chain related to the production, packaging and shipping of products, internally and thru co-packers. This role is not remote and works out of our corporate office in San Leandro.

Fra' Mani, Sukhi's, Sonoma Gourmet, Somersaults and Snap Dragon.

Essential Functions:

• Provide strategic planning and direction for supply chain to ensure current/future needs are met.
• Create and execute production plans that optimize turn time and expedites product throughout the operations and distribution process in an accurate and cost-effective manner.
• Develop, manage and monitor budgets for supply chain (purchasing, production, logistics, etc.)
• Research inefficiencies in production and all aspects of supply chain and implement improvements to drive increased efficiencies and lower costs.
• Ensure quality of work and for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the production, inventory and warehousing functions.
• Develops and manages all aspects of co-packer relationship and coordinates activities with Hatcheri internal departments as needed.
• Sources, qualifies all co-packers and negotiates contract terms with co-packers, key ingredient suppliers or supply chain services including executing and implementing contracts. Qualifications:
  Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, and/or combination education/experience. 5 years supply chain management experience, preferably with CPG experience within the food industry. Experienced with sourcing and managing supplier relationships for the food industry. Required Skills, Knowledge or abilities: Working knowledge of and ability to structure contracts for supplier partnership Experienced with forecasting, demand planning and inventory management Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills Proficient with Office required, including excellent Excel skills Experienced preparing operating budgets, managing COGS and completing basic financial analysis Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary/bonus to commensurate with experience.
