With Arista is seeking an outstanding Senior Board Power Engineer
who is a team player, collaborating closely with our design teams
across the globe. You will contribute to the development of our
switch networking product line, from concept to bench validation.

significant impact! What You’ll Do Collaborate with hardware and
design teams on power delivery strategies. Apply tools and flow in
advanced technology to achieve project development goals. Design
and optimize power delivery network. Power validation & measurement
in the lab Perform power delivery analysis and mitigation. Be part
of a small team to serve as the focal point for power requirements
& validation Collaborate with hardware and design teams on power
delivery strategies. Creating power tree. Qualifications
Experience: 5 years of experience in power integrity engineering,
with a focus on high-performance computing or networking hardware.
Education: BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent experience in Electrical
Engineering or a related field. Power Expertise: Proven experience
in analyzing, mitigating, and optimizing power integrity, including
detailed troubleshooting in the lab. Lab Skills: Proficiency with
lab equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, DC load, Bode plots) and
experience with power measurement techniques. Control Theory
Knowledge: Solid understanding of control theory, including gain
margin, phase margin, stability, and related metrics for power
integrity analysis. Power Technology Knowledge: In-depth
understanding of DC-DC power converters, multiphase architectures,
and various control modes (current mode, voltage mode,
constant-on-time). Design Tools: Experience reviewing schematics
and layouts, specifically with Cadence tools. Teamwork &
Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with
experience working cross-functionally to implement power delivery
strategies. Documentation & Reporting: Document power integrity
analyses, design decisions, test results, and present findings to
cross-functional teams. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving and
analytical skills. Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Python for automation
and data analysis is a plus. Compensation Information The new hire
base pay for this role has a pay range of $139,000 to $190,000.
Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that
we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the
market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range
of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience,
and work location. The pay range provided reflects base pay only
and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for
discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles
are eligible to participate in Arista’s Sales Incentive Plan, which
pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales.
