Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Tech Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and execute scheduled maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities by diagnosing faults and repairing equipment. Responsibilities Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance. Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly. Diagnose faults and effectively repair equipment. Supervise engineering and technical staff. Obtain specialist components, fixtures, or fittings as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. Create and implement maintenance procedures. Manage stocks of supplies and equipment. Write and develop programs to support maintenance activities. Assist maintenance teams in creating Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in rigging, instrumentation, and supervision. Work Environment The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. The work environment involves both outdoor reactive maintenance and indoor shop repairs. Flexibility in scheduling may be required for vacation coverage, pressing projects, or other demands. Dress in accordance with safety regulations as work is split between Cargill's site in Dayton. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
