About this role: Digital Technology & Innovation group has an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in its Secure Identity Management Services (SIMS) engineering team. This is a hands-on role with primary focus on design and development of automation scripts and testing of complex business functionality. The ideal candidate would have deep experience with API testing, well-versed in quality engineering practices and proficient in BDD based test automation. In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using test automation frameworks.
  • Perform functional and regression testing and associated defect tracking.
  • Participate in the entire Agile SDLC and interface with project managers, business analysts, and deployment teams.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide quality engineering support for release environments.
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Required Qualifications, US:
    • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 4+ years of Software Automation Engineering experience
    • 2+ years of BDD using industry standard frameworks.
    • 2+ years API test development (REST or SOAP) and automation
    • 2+ years of Agile experience Desired Qualifications:
      • Experience working with Service Virtualization solutions
      • Prior experience with DevTest
      • Experience with modern software engineering technologies and toolsets like JIRA, Git, Postman, Splunk, Jenkins, Kafka and MongoDB Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
