Job Description:
Cuberg is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our
fast growing Finance team. This role will be responsible for
managing all aspects of our accounting and bookkeeping activities,
including maintaining accurate financial records, owning accounts
payable and accounts receivable, and supporting tax initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have exceptional attention to detail,
time management, and communication skills. The Senior Accountant
must be comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and
dynamic startup environment, with the ability to work well with
internal and external stakeholders, as well as
independently.About:Cuberg is commercializing next-generation
battery technology to power the future of electric mobility. The
company was acquired in 2021 by Northvolt, a global supplier of
sustainable, high-quality battery cells and systems. As Northvolt's
Advanced Technology Center operating in Silicon Valley, Cuberg is
developing and commercializing lithium metal batteries, building an
innovation ecosystem around lithium-ion technology, and leveraging
Northvolt's state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities to rapidly
scale up production of advanced batteries.Responsibilities:Own the
company general ledger and fixed asset register, working
cross-functionally with all teams to ensure accurate
reconciliationStreamline the accounts payable and accounts
receivable processes to improve efficiency and accuracyManage the
month-end and year-end close processesPrepare monthly financial
reports for internal and external stakeholdersManage employee
expense reporting systemSupport tax initiatives, including
partnering with preparers for tax returns and compliance with
regulationsLiaise with external auditors as neededMaintain and
enforce financial policies and procedureRequirements4+ years of
relevant experience in bookkeeping and accountingA Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent in experienceStrong
proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft DynamicsExcellent
communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate
accounting concepts for a business audienceBenefitsWe offer a

+ bonus) range for this full-time position is $127,500 - $158,000 +
